Jennifer studied Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), acupuncture and western medicine at Beijing University of TCM from 1988-1993 and was awarded a Bachelor degree of TCM and a Bachelor of Medical Science.
Jennifer practiced TCM and acupuncture at the Beijing Hospital Combined Chinese and Western Medicine in Beijing, China, and a private hospital in Japan after her graduation. She has been practicing TCM in New Lambton, Australia, since 1999.
Jennifer is continually studying ancient Chinese Medicine texts to improve her practice. Most notably she is studying the Shang Han Lun and the Jin Gui Yao Lue, texts written in Han dynasty China by Zhang Zhongjing, a revolutionary Chinese medicine physician. Jennifer adapts the diagnosis methods and formulars from these texts to her practice, which has made her practice a great success.
Jennifer has extensive experience in women’s fertility and long-term, chronic disorders such as skin disorders, anxiety and digestive disorders etc.
